Our Story

It all started at a PCNAK conference with a simple act of kindness. My twin brother, Alan, helped an auntie move some boxes into her car. Little did we know, this small gesture would set the stage for something life-changing.

The Auntie’s husband, Dr. Saji Lukos, was so thankful for Alan’s help. They mentioned they’d like to visit us since they will be in San Antonio, Tx. A week later, they did just that, staying at my parents’ house..

It was there that the Dr. Saji Lukos introduced Jemy to me. She had come all the way from India, leaving her family behind to study. For two years, she lived in Chicago, navigating life with grace and resilience while being thousands of miles away from those she loved most.

As for me, I was searching for something that I couldn’t quite put my finger on—a love like hers. From the moment we started talking, our connection was undeniable. Her story inspired me, her kindness moved me, and her strength left me in awe.

What began as a chance meeting turned into endless conversations, shared dreams, and now, a lifetime together. It’s a beautiful reminder that miracles do happen and that God works in ways we cannot see, bringing the right people together at the right time.

Our story is a testament to the beauty of how God works, the strength of love, and the courage it takes to open your heart to someone new.

Some might call it fate, others might call it modern romance, but for us, it was all part of God’s plan. Manna and I met online, and our first substantial connection happened over a video call. From there, our conversations deepened, filled with honesty and vulnerability. We talked about our interests, shared countless laughs, and explored a wide range of topics, from life’s little joys to our deepest dreams. Slowly but surely, our love grew stronger with every word shared.

Manna came from India to pursue her master’s degree in Cincinnati, carrying her warmth, culture, and an unmatched strength of spirit. I was born and raised in Texas, a Texan through and through, with a heart for God, a love for racing cars, and my dogs. At first glance, our worlds seemed so different, but through our conversations, we discovered a beautiful harmony between us.

We shared our deepest hurts, setbacks, and the dreams we held dear about building a life together. We respected and valued where we each came from and embraced the differences that made us unique. At the same time, we were excited about the new life we could create together a life that blended our backgrounds into something extraordinary. Most importantly, we both agreed that God had to remain at the center of our relationship, guiding us every step of the way.

We met in person twice, and those days were filled with pure excitement and joy! From the moment I met her, I knew she was something special. Not only did she win my heart, but she also won over my taste buds by making the best chicken biryani I’ve ever had (a lifelong dream fulfilled! I’d always hoped to find a good cook!). Those moments together only strengthened our bond and made it harder to be apart.

Through countless nights of talking, dreaming, and praying, we realized we couldn’t stay separated for long. Now, we’re ready to start this new chapter as husband and wife. We can’t wait for you to join us in celebrating our love and the life God is building for us. See you on our big day!
